Hello, my name is Alison Hardy and I live in a little village just outside of Grantham, in Lincolnshire. My husband and I have two children and we live in a multi-generational household since my parents (both in their 80’s) share our home.
While living in Oman I was fortunate to work for the British Em
bassy as Vice Consul. This work was incredibly challenging at times but one of the most enjoyable aspects of the role was marrying people. I loved being part of the couple’s special day. Sadly, I also had to work with a lot of people who were dealing with the death of a loved one.
On returning to the UK, and training with the International College of Professional Celebrants and obtaining a NOCN level 3 in Civil Celebrancy, HMD Celebrants was created.

When I’m not looking after HMD Celebrants and my clients I enjoy reading and puzzles. I love playing golf and am also a qualified scuba diver. I don’t think that I’ll be doing much diving in the lovely waters off the coast here however, I am very much a fair weather diver (and camper).
