Hello, my name is Alison Hardy and I live in Great Gonerby, a little village just outside of Grantham, in Lincolnshire. My husband and I have two children, both boys. It is a multi-generational household since my parents (both in their 80’s) share our home. I have lived overseas for most of my adult life both in Canada and Oman, where my children were born. They say what goes around comes around – I was born in Grantham 50 years ago, and I’m back!
HMD Celebrants
I created HMD Celebrants, after training with International College of Professional Celebrants. I am able to officiate all types of ceremonies, whether it be an engagement, wedding, vow renewal or a naming ceremony. Whatever you want – your dreams can become a reality when you work with me. I work closely with funeral directors to ensure that the funeral you would like for a loved one is carried out exactly as you wish. A very difficult time can become a little more bearable when you allow me to help with the ceremony.
As Vice Consul I took care of the legal aspect of births, deaths and marriages but now I don’t have to read from a standard script. I shall work with you to create any type of ceremony. It will be as unique and individual as you want it to be. As your celebrant, I will create a ceremony that will help bring the story you want to life. Your Story . Our Words
When I’m not looking after HMD Celebrants and its clients I enjoy reading and puzzles. I love playing golf and am also a qualified scuba diver. I don’t think that I’ll be doing much diving in the lovely waters off the coast here however, I am very much a fair weather diver (and camper).
