We are sorry for your loss and that you are having to plan a funeral. HMD Celebrants will work with you and your Funeral Director to help deliver a fitting ceremony. Alison will be with you to support and deliver a Eulogy that you agree and provide a ceremony you want. Working closely with you and your Funeral Director we will ensure that your wishes are carried out with understanding, support and consideration.
We work closely with funeral directors to ensure that the funeral you would like for a loved one is carried out exactly as you wish. A very difficult time can become a little more bearable when you allow us to help with the ceremony. As Vice Consul I took care of the legal aspect of births, deaths and marriages but now I don’t have to read from a standard script. I shall work with you to create any type of ceremony. It will be as unique and individual as the person we’re remembering.

There are a huge number of options available to families and it can be daunting trying to wade through all that is being asked of you. This is where HMD Celebrants, Alison, and your Funeral Director will help. We can take the strain so you can concentrate on you, and your family. It may be that you do not want a traditional funeral for your loved one and would much prefer a Celebration of their Life. Still a sombre occasion but one with laughter as well as tears as we remember a life well lived. It could be that you would just like to scatter your loved ones Remains in a private moment with a few simple words, music or readings. We can help.
We will visit and sit with you if possible or meet with you by video conference. Alison will ask some questions about who we are remembering to help her build an idea of who they were. She will use carefully chosen words to write a Eulogy that you are proud of. Sometimes death can occur all too soon. Whether we are describing the life of someone who has led a full and happy one, or someone whose life has been cut short too soon, we can help.
Is it a Memorial that you would like help with planning? Alison is able to scribe a fitting tribute and officiate at a Memorial for you. Memorials can be held any time after a death, maybe a one year anniversary or even 10 years. Alison was once asked to write a Memorial for a family pet. The family said that it helped the children come to terms with their loss. It doesn’t matter what, or who, we are remembering a fitting Memorial will be prepared and delivered where, when and how you would like.
