Grantham crematorium and cemetery is a remarkable place. It is run and cared for by a unique team of individuals who are all dedicated to making sure you are looked after and experience the very best level of service. The Chapel Attendant, a fabulous lady called Emma is exceptional. She knows her stuff and there is very little that she hasn’t seen. There is a Book of Remembrance at the Chapel and the calligraphy is simply stunning. Apparently a lady attends once every six weeks or so to fill in the book. If you get a chance go and have a look it is a beautiful piece of history.
The grounds are open to the public so if you like to be in beautiful, peaceful surroundings it is the place to go. If you take your dog it must be kept on a lead while you are walking around. There is only a small car park so you may want to park outside on the road. Photos coming soon.
