HMD Celebrants can help you with everything from helping you announce your engagement to writing the service of your dreams. You will be getting a highly qualified professional who will work closely with you every step of the way. Because we are not Humanist or Church we are able to accommodate whatever it is you want. Your unique ceremony will be all about you and because we don’t have to work in a licensed venue your ceremony can take place anywhere at any time of day – sunrise, sunset or midnight. Whatever you choose.
Alison will prepare a ceremony incorporating whatever you want. Working closely with you she can help you with choosing Readings and even help you when it comes to writing your vows. She’ll get to know you, your loves, hates and desires. Alison will immerse herself in your love story. Your Story . Our Words. We will be able to suggest a symbolic ritual if you would like or maybe you have heard about Hand Fasting and would like to know a little more about the ritual. There could be a Water or Sand Ceremony if you are blending cultures or families or maybe you would like all your guests to be involved and have a memory box?
There is so much choice it can be a little overwhelming. Alison can help you navigate your way towards your perfect day. Some couples decide they would like a simple ceremony where they classically say their vows and sign a certificate. However, if it’s a ‘Hello’ style wedding you want then yippee what we can do!!!
HMD Celebrants will make your day exceptional and one you will remember for all the best reasons. We only accept one wedding a day so if you, or your guests, are running a little late it isn’t a problem. One of the great things about HMD Celebrants is that we can travel anywhere and include, or do, anything you want – provided it’s legal and not naked!
Ceremonies normally take place after legal registration of the marriage by a Registrar. This is called a Statutory Marriage or, simply put, a 2 plus 2.
